Secretary Chesterton, IN Serves as the Office Manager for the Office of the Superintendent - Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Schedules and coordinates activities for the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent, Management Assistant and Civic Engagement Program Manager. Is a principal contact for and assists special visitors to the park, including Regional Directors; Washington, Region or Service Center personnel; Congressmen, Senators and their staffs; and other dignitaries and visitors. Business Assistant Hammond, IN Serves as primary point of contact and oversees all elements related to business office processing for educational partnerships (e.g., inquiries, data validation, budgeting, establishment of fees, fee assessment, reconciliations, contracts, third party payment processing, distribution of income, refunding, and communications). Works with the Registrar's office and the academic unit to identify established courses and is responsible for the creation of fee assessment detail codes and assessment rules. Reconciles income between the student information system and the financial general ledger system. Invoices students and companies for outstanding receivables. Reconciles invoice from the education partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness of income distribution and payments. Processes refunds as needed throughout the semester. Human Resources Associate Tripler Army medical Center, HI Payroll/HRIS: Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries for all exempt, nonexempt, temporary, casual and student employees. Process and reconcile personnel-related financial transactions for all staff, including salary actions for staff, students and contingent workers. Process payroll transactions for new hires, termination, one-time payments, salary advances, bonuses, late payments, step increases, etc. Administer paychecks bi-monthly; investigate and resolve all payroll errors, etc. Time Administration: Serve as Timecard Administrator for contingent employees. Evaluation Specialist
The University of Hawaii Work with staff of the State of Hawaii Department of Education and University of Hawaii to develop evaluation plans for Hawaii P-20 programs. Implement evaluation activities, including formative and summative evaluations, for Hawaii P-20 programs such as GEAR UP Hawaii and the College Access Challenge Grant. Work with DOE and UH personnel to collect and analyze data for reporting. Prepare and submit requests to the UH Institutional Review Board and HIDOE to comply with policies and procedures regarding human subjects. Design, develop, and maintain a project database of participating students and schools. Analyze evaluation results, prepare reports and recommendations to improve program activities.
