Grant Accounting Administrator Dover, DE Act as primary liaison with Restricted Funds Accounting on annual A-133 audits. Use the Universities accounting system to access grant award information as needed. Monitor and keep current with government regulations regarding contract and grant accounting; specifically OMB circulars A-21, A-110, A-133 and A-133 supplement and the governmental accounting principles such as the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Able to provide interpretation and application of all governmental regulations and accounting principles to principle investigator's and staff as needed. Completion and distribution of financial reports, financial statements and consolidation of various accounting reports in accordance with applicable state and/or federal rules, regulations, procedures and guidelines. May work with technical staff on the installation and upgrade of computerized accounting/financial management systems and other reporting forms and systems. Initiates and processes the payments of invoices as necessary for state and federal grants, contracts and sub-awards for reasonableness and in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Calculate and monitor the indirect cost rate applied to various sponsored awards, ensuring consistency and adherence with internal policies and externally negotiated rates.
