Administrative Support Assistant Anchorage, AK Serves as the Administrative Support Assistant for the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Program. Collects, forwards and files HCHV applications. Collects, processes, and files timecard information. Provides accounting, clerical and administrative support. Provides technical assistance to investigate and analyze office procedures and measurement techniques. Maintains accurate financial records which includes accounting records system for billing, receiving and paying, and payroll system. Assures that databases are complete, current, and accurate. Reviews program files for completeness and accuracy. Abstracts data from various reporting sources to complete statistical reporting. Reconciles accounts by comparing balances with related data to assure agreements. Assist in preparing reports. Provides phone reception services and assures that information is complete, accurate, and timely routed to the appropriate staff. Prepares and composes non-technical correspondence and miscellaneous spreadsheets. Serves as liaison for office support services. Checks eligibility requirements for Veterans. Schedules all appointments and enters outpatient stop codes in scheduling packages for tracking purposes. Orders office supplies, medical supplies, etc. Sorts and distributes mail. Provides accurate, complete, and courteous information and assistance to Veterans and their dependents, beneficiaries, etc. Uses a government motor vehicle for picking up supplies, courier services, and on occasion, transporting clients.

Serves at the technical authority/expert on all actions and operations related to the Land Titles and Records Office, including the implementation of Department/BIA policies, procedures, and guidelines.
